At present 95 million people in India are above the age of 60, by the year 2025 nearly 80 million more will be added to this population bracket. With improved life expectancy rate in our country, it is estimated that as many as 8 million people are currently above the age of 80 years. Changing family value system, economic compulsions of childrens, neglect and abuse has caused elders to fall through the net of family care. Homes for the aged and ideal for elderly peoples who are alone, face health problems, depression and loneliness.

GURDS is a Non-Governmental organization with a mission to provide better living facilities among the deprived sections of the society. Our mission is to re-define life and promote quality life to the poor and the needy.

Our aim is to provide oppurtunities to the needy through which they will develop skills, obtain knowledge through education, motivate and inspire them to be responsible through various innovative programs.

We look forward to extend financial support for infrastucture development and provide assistive device to institutions around Bengaluru.

We plan to do following activities under this programme
  • Providing Shelters to Homeless.
  • Supporting Orphanages Homes & Old Age Homes.
  • Providing basic necessities such as food, Shelters, Clothing, Medicines etc.
